Not too long ago, I sat right where you are. First, scouring through endless piles of magazines, ripped out pages of “ideas I was gonna get to “ and pictures of things I wanted but had no idea what they actually cost. Then finally deciding to “get organized” you desperately sign up for one of the mega wedding sites claiming all their tools will make it easier (you don’t use most of them) or that they have all the vendor listings you’ll ever need (which is sort of true if you had time to call 400 photographers and 100 bakers and 200 venues that their directory spits out in your “local area”).
As I broke down, It finally hit me. I wanted : Fewer Listings. But Better Choices!
No matter where you live, and no matter what your budget, there are just too many options these days. And too many options is worse than no options because you still end up with no decision except you’re just more stressed out since it seems you should be able to “just pick one”. You’re so not alone! We’ve all been there. I had such a stressful experience trying to plan what started out as a “simple, small wedding” that it drove me to start this site.

My fiancé and I put together all our months of research, weeded through the overdone, the sketchy and the overpriced just to give you the top 5 vendor choices in every category. Does this mean that there just isn’t a 6th good vendor in the area? No. There are hundreds and we are constantly updating our list to tweak it just a little for better quality at a lower price. But, what we are saying is that if you simply look through these 5 options, compare their websites for your particular budget and taste point on the spectrum, you just can’t go wrong!
So throw away the pile of magazine pages, unsubscribe from the endless mega site emails and just browse our handpicked, very concise directory. Everything you need is right here. More of everything isn’t better, it’s just more stressful!
